Talybont is easy to find, (honest). Between Abergavenny and Brecon signposted from the A40. It's the first building on the right heading towards the village, if you've gone passed the Usk hotel/pub you've gone too far.

The venue is open from 3pm Friday afternoon, if you arrive early you will be harassed into doing some things. Yes this Wales where mountains sneak up on you, this is because of the heritage.
Riding up canal tow-paths and railway lines means even you can climb a mountain!
Throwing yourself off the top is an option or continue along the sensible tracks it’s down to you!
This area is mountain bike heaven as it caters for all abilities even roadies.

For non-riding partners- near by there’s horse riding centre with child friendly activity centre. Boat rides along the canal. Market towns of Abergavenny and Brecon are short drive. Loads of way marked walking routes.

Where: Talybont is a small village in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National park – there are three pubs but no gays in this village!

VENUE:  Talybont Outdoor Activity Centre, Talybont on Usk The venue has a number of rooms with beds (like youth hostel). The beds are available on a first come first served basis, please indicate on the reg form if you require one, there will be no extra charge for these. There is plenty of space for camping. If you are bringing a camper van please let us know on the reg form. There is limited car parking so please either car share and/or park considerately.

WHAT YOU'RE PAYING FOR:

  • Saturday and Sunday Breakfast
  • Excellent rides
  • Saturday lunch
  • Saturday Evening Meal

If there is any money left we will provide food on Friday night, watch this space for confirmation.
